Fabric Care
For machine washing cotton, use a delicate cycle with cold water (30°C or below). For handwashing, use lukewarm water to prevent colour fading. Gently agitate the garment in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
Squeeze out excess water and shake the dress to minimize creases. Avoid tumble dryers, as the heat can damage the fabric and consume excessive energy. Instead, air dry cotton garments outdoors in a breeze to keep them almost crease-free. In colder months, hang them indoors (away from radiators) for a gentle drying process.
If you need to iron (often Liberty Tana Lawn does not need ironing) do so on a gentle heat.
So happy with this new design… a crisp Japanese cotton shirt with a gentle ruffle down the front. Inspired by everyday wear but given a romantic twist, it’s the kind of piece that feels easy yet special. Wear it buttoned up neatly or layer it as an overshirt – it works beautifully both ways.
A relaxed drop shoulder and generous one-size cut keep it comfortable, while mother-of-pearl buttons at the front and cuff add just the right touch of pretty. Practical, versatile, and very JT – we think this one will become a favourite.
