What to wear for a Romantic Weekend in Paris
Come with us on a day in the life of our Parisian weekend away. In the company of friend and fellow British Maker Mim from Parasol Rose. In true Paris style - we indulged in cafe culture, explored galleries and were enchanted by the streets of this romantic city.
An early start - the day began with coffee at Le Relais de la Butte. Waking up in the bohemian magic of Bateau Lavoir, where Picasso used to work. Creativity lingers in the air, and this area was imbued with artistic charm.
Wearing our signature Nottingham Lace Top, paired with Parasol Rose silk shorts.
We wandered around Monmartre discovering the wonderful array of independent shops the quarter has to offer, a favourite being a magical button emporium - Dam Buttons
Finally, we headed towards the Musee des Arts Décoratifs where we immersed ourselves in the opulence of the eighteen century (I can't wait to go and see Marie Antoionette Style at the V&A here in London too)
The Nottingham lace skirt in Pearl swished from metro, to gallery, to dinner with ease. Styled with Parasol Rose - these outfits embody ‘romantic’ French style, trimmed with Nottingham Lace.
When it comes to packing for a trip to Paris - focus on crafted fabrics and playful layering pieces. Versatility will take you from day to night, and pretty details will keep the romance alive long after your trip is over... Enjoy !
