Caring for your linen
To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.
Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!

Crafted in glorious, weighty washed Irish linen in joyful stripes of yellow, coral, pink, sky and lavender blue colours. This cloth was made especially for us by our partner Irish linen weavers.
Cut in our much-loved Brighton shape, they sit comfortably on the waist with soft elastic, a straight leg that finishes mid thigh, and deep pockets front and back for all your seaside treasures.
