Fabric care
For machine washing, use a delicate cycle with cold water (30°C or below). For handwashing, use lukewarm water to prevent colour fading. Gently agitate the garment in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
Squeeze out excess water and shake the dress to minimize creases. Avoid tumble dryers, as the heat can damage the fabric and consume excessive energy. Instead, air dry cotton garments outdoors in a breeze to keep them almost crease-free. In colder months, hang them indoors (away from radiators) for a gentle drying process.
If you need to iron (often Liberty Tana Lawn does not need ironing) do so on a gentle heat.
The Kensington Dress is our elegant, swishy dress for any occasion. Made in luxuriously soft Liberty Tana Lawn, we've chosen Fragile Blooms for the winter season. Gently falling poppy heads drawn in cream and soft beige are strewn across a dark ground creating organically shaped weaving patterns.
This fit and flare dress skims fluidly over the bodice, and gently flows from a slightly high-waisted seam down to a full, swishy skirt. Bodice darts at the front and back make this a dress that suits both smaller busts and the more curvy amongst you. Three-quarter length sleeves with cuff. Neat shirt collar. Two sash ties sewn into the side seams to be tied front or back into a knot or bow. Sustainably sourced fine cream codelite buttons made in England. Long midi length.
