Because these fabrics are sourced as surplus, we can't always be absolutely certain of their exact composition. To be on the safe side, we recommend dry cleaning only or carefully spot cleaning with a specialist fabric cleaner.

Made out of a deadstock velvet, this dress is a 'modern romantic'. Easy and comfortable for glamorous day or party.
The dress has a softly elasticated neckline, gentle gathering at the bust that sits above an empire seam giving the soft illusion of Regency dresses. The empire line is fixed and sits neatly at the high waist, gentle gathers flow to the skirt to a midi length. Billowing sleeves, again gathered into a soft elastic cuff. Updated for modern living, we have kept enough ease for movement and added deep pockets. Unlined.
Available in Ruby red and Midnight blue.
Size Guide - 'Neater' - this dress falls within our Neater fit category as it is fitted at the empire line seam and cut to follow the natural curves of the body. Three quarter sleeves with a loose elasticated cuff that can be pushed up or down. Length falls to low mid calf on heights between 5' 4" - 5' 9"
Models is 5'8", size 8 and wearing size X Small.
