Caring for your linen
To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.
Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!
The original petticoat Lane Dress returns! My best-selling, easy, breezy tiered linen dress in joyful apple green - fresh, grounded and full of quiet Scandi vibes. The colour draws on the natural world, somewhere between fresh grass and spring leaves, bringing a sense of calm energy to new season dressing.
This tiered dress has a slightly raised waistline and hidden shaping in the upper tier. Subtle puffed sleeve with softly elasticated cuffs. Easy, over-the-head style for day through to evening.
The Irish linen I use has an amazing weight and drape, made more beautiful with every wash. Made in small batches in England this dress reflects a slower, more thoughtful approach to design — one rooted in quality, longevity and everyday ease.

These are the garment measurements (not your body!) – the bust circumference of the dress measures:
