Caring for your linen
To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.
Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!
Beautiful Irish linen, celebrated as the ultimate sustainable fibre for all-season wear. This time, we’ve chosen an Irish tartan, called Longford, with its distinguished dark greens, rich teals, and a fine red check – a palette of colours that pairs with just about everything.
The shape is our beloved, classic three-tier Mill Town dress, blending practicality with a touch of prettiness. A soft, round neckline with a simple button and loop-back fastening. Bracelet-length sleeves are gently elasticated at the cuff for a relaxed fit.
In one of the pictures, Justine is wearing the Longford Tartan Dress with the Lovat Marl Cropped Jumper. In another picture, Daisy is wearing the dress with the Colbalt Croppped Jumper.
Choosing the right size: This is an over-the-head dress designed to be just that little bit loose and comfy. It fits true to size.
Justine is 166cm tall (5ft 5"). Her bust is 89cm (35in) and her waist is 76cm (30in). She is wearing a Small.
