Caring for your linen

To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.

Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!

Blackwatch Tartan trousers

I am a UK size 12-14, 5ft 4 inches and buying trousers is usually a nightmare. I was fully expecting for these not to fit but they do! I ordered the medium. The legs are loose without being baggy, the waist is comfy as elasticated and the leg length (always an issue for me) is good. I do not need to take them up! I also love the fact they are Blackwatch Tartan which is the vibe I have been trawling the internet for. It is surprisingly hard to find blackwatch trousers, so very happy.

Favourite Trousers of the Season

I love these Blackwatch tartan trousers and am wearing them a lot this fall! On cooler days in Vancouver I wear a cashmere sweater with them and on warmer days they look great with a shirt! I wish there was a Blackwatch jacket to go with them!!
