Caring for your linen
To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.
Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!
Introducing the Shepherdess Dress, a joyful, easy dress with richly ruffled sleeves; comfortable, carefree and feminine. Cut from our popular Lavenham block, we've woven rich red and cherry yarns together to create a colour with depth and vibrancy.
This dress is cut to suit all shapes with deep bust darts for flattering fit, a relaxed raised waist with gentle gathers to a flowing skirt. Fluid and free, over the head neckline, with roomy side slip pockets.
Daisy is 166cm tall (5ft,5). Her bust is 84cm (33in) and her waist is 63cm (25in). She wears a UK size 8 and is wearing an Extra Small in the Shepherdess Dress.
