Caring for your woollens
For care, hand wash your knitwear only when necessary; airing often refreshes it.
Use a delicate wool-specific detergent and wash in lukewarm water with gentle agitation. Avoid soaking, wringing, or rubbing. Rinse with cold water until clear.
To remove excess water, gently squeeze the garment, then press it in a towel. Avoid tumble drying, as it may cause shrinkage.
While damp, reshape and lay flat to dry away from direct heat or sunlight. If needed, iron on the wool setting.
Store knitwear folded to prevent stretching, and shake out regularly to avoid moths. Consider vacuum bags for long-term storage.
