Fabric Care
For machine washing cotton, use a delicate cycle with cold water (30°C or below). For handwashing, use lukewarm water to prevent colour fading. Gently agitate the garment in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
Squeeze out excess water and shake the dress to minimize creases. Avoid tumble dryers, as the heat can damage the fabric and consume excessive energy. Instead, air dry cotton garments outdoors in a breeze to keep them almost crease-free. In colder months, hang them indoors (away from radiators) for a gentle drying process.
If you need to iron (often Liberty Tana Lawn does not need ironing) do so on a gentle heat.

A nod to my Manchester roots, this dress takes its name from the charming village of Didsbury where I grew up. A variation of our much-loved Camden Passage Dress, the Didsbury carries the same flattering fit but adds a touch of easy elegance with a button-down front and versatile shirt cuffs you can roll up or down to suit your style.
As with all of our signature pieces, this dress comes with a self-fabric sash, thoughtfully attached at the side seams to keep everything neat and tidy. Can be tied at the front, back or wrapped around. And, of course, you'll always find those practical touches we love – side slip pockets and a delicate ruffle at the neckline complete this timeless design.
Choosing the right size: The Didsbury is designed as an Easy Fit dress with a beautifully fluid shape. The key measurement here is the bust, so if you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing down for the best fit.
