Introducing the Hackney dress, a simple, contemporary, classic style made in the most beautiful of Irish linens. 

The style is effortless and flatters all sizes. We have cut with deep bust darts in the bodice so that the fabric curves around the body, the waist is gently nipped in, the skirt cut with flare in the gathers that flow to the midi-length hem. No need for a zip, this dress can be simply 'thrown on' with the notch neck opening, a tiny discreet hook and eye at the neck. Wear loose and free or this dress looks great cinched with a belt. 

We find that this luxury linen has all round charm, especially when given a tartan twist in this richly loomed check. Warm and weighty in the Autumn, cool and airy in the spring.  

This version in Indigo check is a deep indigo blue with a natural cream check. 

Fabric and Aftercare - Pure Irish linen. Unlined. Machine wash at 30 degrees. Hang dry or cool tumble. Medium iron if desired. We encourage minimal washing, saving water and the environment. 

Linen is a fabric that is naturally sustainable, using European flax that is grown with rainwater alone, with no need for fertilisers and even leaves the ground replenished with nutrients for the next planting. We work with a beautiful family run weaver in Ireland, to create our own colour combinations in pure linen that supersede any fashion trends.

Size Guide -'EASIER' this dress falls within our Easier fit category with a looser, swishy fit. Although the design is cut to be looser at the high waist, the shoulders are cut to a natural shoulder line.
