Caring for your linen

To care for linen, always turn garments inside out before washing. Use lukewarm water (30°C or less) on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Fasten buttons and hooks before washing.

Do not wring or tumble dry—air dry instead. If drying in the sun, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading (except for white linen, which brightens in the sun). Iron while damp for a crisp finish, pressing from the inside to avoid shine. Embrace linen’s natural texture and gentle creasing—it’s part of its charm!

Pre-washed luxury linen in a striking aqua tartan, we only had enough cloth to make just a few dresses, like all our styles, this dress is designed with timeless longevity in mind. Brown velvet trims the neckline. Yoke seam with slight gathers. Skirt skims fluidly from a high-waisted seam, falling away and not clingy. Gently puffed sleeves fall to a tucked wrist with room to be pushed up the arm to a three-quarter length. Side zip. Deep side pockets. Unlined.

100% Linen woven in Ireland

Flax is a naturally sustainable fibre grown with rainwater alone (no polluting fertilisers!). It leaves the ground replenished with nutrients.

Choosing your size: This dress is cut with a fitted shape whilst skimming the body for ease and comfort. Please measure your bust and waist to get the right fit. Beautiful linen and really flattering on. The v neck is perfect and quite lovely with a little necklace. I wore this out recently and had so many compliments, even asking for details of where I bought it. Great quality make as well, like all of Justine’s designs.

I love this dress, I was not expecting that a linen dress could be so soft and smooth. I like the bright colour and the neck line. I ordered Medium size because it was out of stock in Small so I had to adjust it a little bit, and now is perfect for my figure!

The perfect dress.

Absolutely love the Bohemian style dress it is such a flattering fit ,very slimming and elegant ! The linen drapes and feels so soft and comfortable to wear, the colours are uplifting in this gorgeous aqua and blue tartan mix and I love the long beautifully shaped sleeves. It is expertly made with perfect pattern matching and construction of the garment including invisible side zipper and concealed pockets in the side seam and perfectly finished touches of velvet trim to the neckline. I found it a little long but that’s because I am quite short and my daughter has shortened it for me.
It is my second Bohemian dress I also have the glorious pistachio green version which is also beautiful and timeless.
