Fabric Care
For machine washing cotton, use a delicate cycle with cold water (30°C or below). For handwashing, use lukewarm water to prevent colour fading. Gently agitate the garment in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
Squeeze out excess water and shake the dress to minimize creases. Avoid tumble dryers, as the heat can damage the fabric and consume excessive energy. Instead, air dry cotton garments outdoors in a breeze to keep them almost crease-free. In colder months, hang them indoors (away from radiators) for a gentle drying process.
If you need to iron (often Liberty Tana Lawn does not need ironing) do so on a gentle heat.
The Kensington Dress; an elegant, swishy dress for any occasion, from spring wedding to summer event. For Spring '25 time we've chosen crisp, typewriter cotton to create two perfectly plain options, one in the prettiest of Soft Pink, the other a dusky Jade Green.
This fit and flare dress skims fluidly over the bodice, and gently flows from a slightly high-waisted seam (concealing any tummy bumps!) down to a full, swishy skirt. Bodice darts at the front and back make this a dress that suits both smaller busts and the more curvy. Three quarter length sleeves, tailored collar and cuffs. Sash ties sewn into the side seams to be tied front or back into a knot or bow. Sustainably sourced, made in England, fine cream buttons stitched with pink thread.
