The Daily Dress Edit is back!
When Isabel Spearman, queen of dresses, asked me to take part in her yearly virtual pop-up, there was only one answer: a very enthusiastic YES! Isabel, has been a champion of small British brands for years, pioneering the push to shop special and choose well for long lasting style. In addition, she shares our love of making in the UK and we are thrilled to take part in her latest pop up.
The DDE event is scheduled over a two week period and will feature exclusive dresses from 31 independent British brands. For our special edition dress, Isabel picked out her 'favourite' London Fields style and we chose a beautiful, sustainable 'deadstock' cornflower blue linen to make up this perennially favourite prairie dress. The shape captures the essence of vintage made modern, given a contemporary edge and a touch of everyday glamour with a deep v neck and cinched high waist. All made in England, including Nottingham cotton lace, this dress encapsulates all that we love about beautiful British craftsmanship.
You can order the dress now. The DDE launched on Sunday, and although some sizes have already sold out, if your size isn't available please pre-order for delivery within 4 weeks from our local makers. I hope you like our creation, do take a look on the DDE website and instagram to keep up with all happenings throughout the pop up.
